The next step is to verify your account through a two-step authentication method. We also require our clients to provide their mobile phone numbers. In order to be able to book trailer, you should be of the minimum age requirement. Read through our terms and conditions before you sign up for the website.
For first time customers, Rent A Trailer follows a certain procedure which includes the following steps: 1) driver’s license number and expiration date; 2) home address; 3) payment method; and 4) photo of themselves for their Rent A Trailer profile. All first-time customers are asked to provide this information in all of our locations.
Some clients might be asked to provide additional photos and background checks might be conducted, including personal and/or business credit report, auto insurance score, and criminal background. Rent A Trailer explicitly asks for written instructions and permission in line with the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws to obtain this information from our clients when they are signing up on the website.
Each client is unique and the information they provide cannot be repeated on another account. Clients are prohibited from making any reservations if their account has the same information (email address, driver’s license number, etc.) as another account.
Rent A Trailer reserves the right to decline any reservation or trip requests and ban you from our platform because of your auto insurance score, criminal background, driving record, or any other reason we deem fit. You can try to make a booking with Rent A Trailer if you’ve been denied access and you’re unsure if you’re banned or not.
